Grand Opening at Standard Chartered

On 11 Nov, 2019, we officially rang open The Coffee Academics in the Standard Chartered Building in Central, Hong Kong. It marks the beginning of a brand new retail concept, a first in Hong Kong --- the crossover between coffee and banking, demonstrating our continuous efforts to push the boundaries of specialty coffee experiences. 

Extinguished guests from both Standard Chartered Bank and The Coffee Academics attended the momentous opening ceremony, including Benjamin Hung, Regional CEO, Greater China&North Asia of Standard Chartered Bank.

One of the most meaningful moments came when Jennifer Liu, our founder & chairwoman, and Vicki Kong, Head of Retail Banking jointly nourished and watered two young coffee plants, giving blessings to the budding relationship between the two reputed partners.

With strong global partners like Standard Chartered, The Coffee Academics is poised to take flight in the years to come.
