As the unprecedented Covid-19 pandemic rages on, and ever-stricter Social Distancing measures are imposed across the city, it's natural to feel a little trapped, isolated. We feel it too, seeing so many restaurants around us empty or closed.
Despite all the operational and financial challenges, we keep our doors open, because we feel a strong sense of responsibility towards our team's livelihood and believe in the power of coffee - how small things like good coffee & food can brighten someone's day, especially in times like these. We continue serving and supporting the neighbourhoods around us.
During this time of crisis, The Coffee Academics team have shown incredible
fighting spirit and care for Hong Kong communities. In March, our staff volunteers
hand-packed and distributed 20,000 masks to vulnerable groups in various Hong
Kong neighbourhoods; we also initiated a promotion scheme for all local medical
professionals: 50% Off Coffee and 15% Off Food. And this offer is now extended in April.
